This above message from our colleague Suhama, who has journeyed to farms throughout Japan since his student years.

There are many dairy farms in Japan, but surprisingly, the unique “taste” of each farm’s milk is not widely known.

The way cows are raised and what they are fed differs from farm to farm, and each farmer makes their own efforts and innovations.

It seemed unfortunate to me that, despite the great effort each farm puts into producing delicious, high-quality milk, there are hardly any dairy products that highlight the farm itself, for example, by being labeled as “○○ Farm’s Milk.”

That’s why we began to wonder—perhaps it is precisely because we are a small dairy company that we can contribute, even in a modest way, to enriching dairy culture through “producing dairy products with designated farms.”

The ranch = Where everyone makes dairy products in the closest relationship.

Producing dairy products by specifying a ranch is appealing because it provides clear traceability of factors such as farming methods and cow health.
What we believe to be most important, however, is that it allows the producer (the rancher), the consumer, and the manufacturer to remain in the closest possible relationship.

Focusing on growing our own forage

Around the ranch, delicious pasture grass is carefully cultivated, with a strong focus on producing homegrown feed. The raw milk produced there is characterized by its “sweet” and “gentle” flavor.

At times, it has even been in such high demand that major manufacturers specifically request, “We want raw milk from Nakayama Farm.”
With a commitment to careful production, thoughtful processing, and sustainable (non-overextended) sales, it continues to grow step by step, cherishing every single connection along the way.
