The special milk we use
・Natural pasture
Cows that graze on seasonal grasses and flowers produce raw milk with distinct flavors in spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
Spring is the season when new buds emerge, characterized by high nutritional value and a strong sweetness.
Summer is the season when various plants flourish lush and green; abundant in both variety and quantity, the color of milk turns yellow, and its flavor becomes complex.
In autumn, cows feed on natural pasture and grass, resulting in milk with a calmer color and taste.
Naturally grazing milk, with grass as the main feed during winter, has a mild flavor closest to the regular milk most people drink.
・Gin no Kogen Milk
Nakayama Farm is located on the plateau surrounding the World Heritage Site of Iwami Ginzan Silver Mine in Ōda City, Shimane Prefecture.
Calves are raised grazing freely in the mountains, resulting in strong-legged, healthy, and energetic cows.
Our milk, crafted with care for the cows’ diet—featuring lactic acid–fermented homegrown forage and pure well water—has a refreshingly clean flavor.
Its “sweet and gentle” milky sensation lingers pleasantly in the mouth. When paired with other ingredients, its flavor profile enhances the overall taste experience.
・Hiwa Highlands Milk
Sakane Farm’s Hiwa Highlands Milk, selected for the “Glico Highlands Premium Milk” designation—one of only five such selections nationwide.
The farm is located in the Iwami Highlands, stretching across the plateau region of the Chugoku Mountains.
“We make milk that is gentle on the cows, tastes delicious when drunk, and is milk we ourselves want to drink.”
Sakane Farm’s milk is characterized by its distinctive flavor profile—a deep, milky richness and smoothness that truly embodies what milk should be.
